About VNC Open 2010

VNC Open 2010 is a annual sports carnival organized under by VSS (Vietnamese Sub-committee), under NUSSU IRC. Inspired by the success of VNC OPEN 2009, we are going to make this year event even more interesting, successful. The Games includes TEN sports, namely soccer, basketball, swimming, athletics, tennis, table tennis, badminton, chess, pool, and inline skating.
VNC Open 2010 aiming:

1. To develop the sport spirit as well as to promote sports training among NUS international students.
2. To provide a friendly and warm atmosphere and to enforce the bond between individuals, at the same time help participants widen their social network and evoke the teamwork spirit through the team competitions.
3. To build up friendship among different racial participants through sports.

The ten competitive sports are held separately over then weekends of 20, 21 and 27, 28 Feb 2010. Detailed regulations and rules of each category are applied from respective professional sports associations. VNC Open 2010 Organizing Committee should hold responsible for all the necessary changes to be made.

• VNC Open 2010 – Updates on Cash Prizes
  

  Dear participants,

  We have finally managed to update cash prizes as well as medal awards for all the competitions held at this weekend (26, 27 and 28 Feb 2010).

  There was some trouble on the IT side, but now the problem has been resolved and the website is finally on the fly. From now on, this will be the place you can get the most up-to-date info about VNC Open 2010!

• VNC Open 2010 – We are open for registration!
  

  VNC Open 2010 registration is opening!

  To register, please click on the tab above, and choose either BIG TEAM or INDIVIDUAL. We welcome all of you, however, joining the games as a team is highly recommended!

  So far, we have HELLO KITTY, defending championship team, HELLO PANDA, a newly-formed team consisting of last-year superstars and freshmen. Last but not least, we have PiFC, aka. Pen Island, one of the fresh contestant teams last event yet they have grown stronger and wilder, coming back for the BIG TEAM Prize!
