About VNC OPEN 2008


VNC Open 2008 is the third annual sports carnival which is initiated and organized by the Vietnamese Students' Subcommittee under the International Relations Council (IRC) of NUSSU.

This year, besides the nine popular sports, namely Soccer, Basketball, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Pool, Swimming, Chess and Chinese Chess, for the first time, we introduce Inline Skating as a new competitive sport to the carnival and it will be held at East Coast Park.

The aim of the event is to create a place where students can enjoy the sports games, relax after hard study hours, have more friends and improve their sporting skills. This event is open to all local and international students in NUS, regardless of nationalities, so it is a very good chance to share different cultures as well as to build friendship with people from other countries across the borders.
